TARIQ AZIZ - HOST/POLITICIAN

With one of the most well-known voices in the industry, Tariq Aziz was the first male announcer and anchor to appear on Pakistan Television. Aziz was the beloved host of television quiz show ‘Neelam Ghar’ which ran for years on television due to its unprecedented popularity. Aziz also took an active part in politics as well and was elected member of National Assembly from Lahore in 1997. Besides being a TV celebrity and politician, he was also a poet and philanthropist who will be remembered not just for all the accolades he received but for the love he had for this country.
