Easy DIY Dips
Who doesn’t love dips? I’m sure all of you desi’s are sick of ketchup and fries so let’s jazz it up a bit. Make these easy DIY dips to impress friends and family.

  1. Sour cream


This is such a great condiment to have with crisps and baked potatoes.
Add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice into a cup of heavy cream. Mix it and let it sit for a few minutes. Add in some chopped parsley and it’s ready to go.

  1. Tartar sauce


Fish and chips are lost without a good tartar sauce.
Dice half a cucumber and set it aside in a bow. In a small saucepan, heat 1/3 cup vinegar and 3 tablespoons sugar till the mixture boils. Pour the vinegar mix over the cucumbers and let it rest for a few minutes. In a separate bowl add 1 cup mayonnaise, 1 tsp mustard, the juice of half a lemon and mix together. Drain the cucumbers from the vinegar and mix with the mayonnaise. Done.

  1. Burger sauce


What is an ultimate burger sauce? An amazing sauce used to coat the bun before putting the patty on top to ensure a great flavour and saucy mouthful.
Add a cup of mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons of mustard, 2 tablespoons of chili garlic, 1 tablespoon of barbeque sauce and mix together. YUM!

  1. Cheese dip


Everyone loves a good cheese sauce to go with fries and nachos.
Heat 1 cup cream in a sauce pan. Add ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese and 2 tablespoons of cream cheese. On a low heat, stir everything together till all the cheese melts. Give it a good crack of pepper and its ready to be dipped.

  1. Honey mustard


Mix together ½ cup mustard sauce, ½ cup honey, 2 tablespoons mayonnaise, 1 tsp lemon juice and a pinch of salt. This dip tastes amazing with nuggets and chicken tenders.
