Who doesn’t love dips? I’m sure all of you are sick of ketchup and mayonnaise so let’s spice it up a bit by making these easy DIY dips to impress your friends and family at your next get together.

Sour cream

This is such a great condiment to have with crisps and baked potatoes.

Add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice into a cup of heavy cream. Mix it and let it sit for a few minutes. Add in some chopped parsley and it’s ready to go.

Tartar sauce

Fish and chips are nothing without a good tartar sauce.

Dice half a cucumber and set it aside in a bow. In a small saucepan, heat 1/3 cup vinegar and 3 tablespoons sugar till the mixture boils. Pour the vinegar mix over the cucumbers and let it rest for a few minutes. In a separate bowl add 1 cup mayonnaise, 1 tsp mustard, and the juice of half a lemon and mix. Drain the cucumbers from the vinegar and mix with the mayonnaise. Done.

Burger sauce

What is the ultimate burger sauce? An amazing sauce is used to coat the bun before putting the patty on top to ensure a great flavour and saucy mouthful.

Add a cup of mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons of mustard, 2 tablespoons of chilli garlic, and 1 tablespoon of barbeque sauce and mix. YUMMIEST

Cheese dip

Everyone loves a good cheese sauce to go with fries and nachos.

Heat 1 cup of cream in a saucepan. Add ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese and 2 tablespoons of cream cheese. On low heat, stir everything together till all the cheese melts. Give it a good crack of pepper and it's ready to be dipped.

Honey mustard

Mix ½ cup mustard sauce, ½ cup honey, 2 tablespoons mayonnaise, 1 tsp lemon juice and a pinch of salt. This dip tastes amazing with nuggets and chicken tenders.
