Pakistani Senator Krishna Kohli on BBC’s List of 100 Women of 2018
Krishna Kumari Kohli is a Pakistani politician who has been a member of the Senate of Pakistan since March 2018. She is the first Hindu Dalit woman and the second Hindu woman to hold this position. She is known for her campaigns for women's rights, against bonded labour and against sexual harassment in the workplace.

She recently claimed a spot in the BBC 100 list of inspiring and influential women around the world in 2018.  The list features women who have stood against all odds, broken barriers to their utmost potential, who are leaders and serve as a source of inspiration to the rest of the world, in some way or the other. Chelsea Clinton, Bill and Hillary Clinton’s daughter, is also included in the list for her phenomenal work with the Clinton Foundation, as in Nujeen Mustafa a Syrian student who fled the Syrian war in her wheelchair and campaigns for refugees with disabilities.

People like Krishna Kholi make Pakistani’s all around the world proud! We hope for more achievements and successes like these for our nation.
