Kamila Shamsie And Mohsin Hamid In The BBC’s List Of 100 Novels That Shaped Our World
The BBC just came out with its list for '100 novels that shaped our world' and three Pakistani novelists are in it.

Bapsi Sidhwa for Ice Candy Man.  Mohsin Hamid's novel The Reluctant Fundamentalist is in the 'Crime & Conflict' category while Kamila Shamsie's Home Fire is in the 'Politics, Power & Protest' category. BBC asked a panel of leading writers, curators and critics to choose 100 genre-busting novels that have had an impact on their lives.

The list also includes novels by famous authors, including Toni Morrison and Sylvia Plath. BBC’s list ranges from classics to contemporary, with works like Jane Austin’s Pride & Prejudice and The Harry Potter series by J. K. Rowling making it in their own genres.
