This absolute trendsetter has worked with some of the most renowned names in the industry and has recurrently created looks so fresh that we marvel in awe! This is evident with all the silhouettes she has chosen for our beloved A-listers including Ayeza Khan, Anmol Baloch, Meera, Mehwish Hayat, Sana Javed, Maya Ali, and several others. Aneela Murtaza is the trendsetter we need this year to bring that magic into our daily wardrobe. Here are some of our favorite style tricks by Aneela herself: 

 

1.Don’t forget accessories- What really makes an ensemble pop are the accessories. We can see this in the looks created for Ansab Jahangir’s collection where all the models are draped in heavy but classic eastern jewelry with flowers in their hair. These finishing touches made the outfits all the more scenic and magical. We also didn’t know hair accessories could make such a huge difference in someone's look. Case and point, Ayeza Khan in ‘Chupke Chupke’. 

 

2.Play with stripes: Stripes are often a difficult medium to play with yet Aneela Murtaza’s styling made it all work. The black and white striped suit she selected for Ayeza Khan was unmistakably high fashion and absolutely on-trend. With a solid white blouse against the stripes, this look truly made a statement. High-waisted pants and an oversized jacket paired with dark sunglasses and a bag really epitomized the empowered woman of today. 

 

3. A little goes a long way- Minimal Makeup: We’ve noticed that Aneela tends to opt for minimal makeup when it comes to creating her looks. She focuses on bringing out her artists’ natural beauty, accentuating their features with a few touch-ups here and there. We can see this in several looks created for Sana Javed and Anmol Baloch. 

 

4.Heavy outfits always turn heads: Clearly, this trendsetter has worked with both western and eastern wear but her bridal looks definitely add that extra oomph to our style pursuits. The red and green bridal outfit she decorated for Minal Khan was truly a marker for an impeccable stylist. The headdress, jewelry, and makeup personified the regal look every bride aspires to achieve.

 

5.Minimal yet statement pieces: The red and white outfit Aneela selected for Meera was just out of this world! The dress was so bold yet effortless that it could be worn on any occasion. A long white shirt with perfect cuts and a cached print paired with red pants looked trendy and cool at the time.
