CHEAP WAYS TO STAY COOL

CHEAP WAYS TO STAY COOL

1.Wear light colors:

Dark colors absorb more heat than light colors, right? The rule also applies to clothes, and wearing white (or other light-colored) clothing can keep you much cooler during a heat wave. Plus point is that pastels, especially baby blue and powder pink are in this year! So you can easily enjoy the best of both, comfort and fashion.

2. Soak clothes in cold water:

This one is very simple. Soak your towel in cold water, wring it out, and lie underneath it. It will help you cool down, and since it should be dry by morning, you can rinse and repeat. You can also use this tip throughout the day if you take an old t-shirt and run it under cold water (you don't want to ruin the shape of one you like).

3. Ditch your jeans!

The material is very thick and tends to stick to the body. There is barely any space for the skin to breathe and you don’t want that because summers are already extremely exhausting in terms of the humidity and heat. Opt for ‘light’ clothes. Cotton or linen t-shirts, shorts, and dresses with a looser fit will feel much lighter than tighter fitting t-shirts, shorts, and dresses.

4. Time to say bye to your stove!

Slow cookers and also instant pots are way more convenient than the stove to use as they get the work done fast, keep the temperature in the kitchen down and also saves us a-lot of energy and (back-ache!)

5. DIY Ac

We found something that won’t just help you stay cool but also save you a lot of money!
