There is definitely a lot of inspiration from the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Van Dyk has played a big part in acquiring and developing the Marvel and Star Wars brand.

Both co-presidents of Activision Blizzard Studios have impressive credentials under their belt, fitting in well for the Call of Duty series. Sher previously produced Quentin Tarantino The Hateful Eight, Django Unchained, and Pulp Fiction, while Nick Van Dyke helped broker the deal between Marvel and Disney.
