 Surkh Gulab

Mohsin Naveed Ranjha’s latest bridal collection for this year’s summer festive season, ‘Surkh Gulab’, takes its inspiration from the mighty ‘desi gulab’ (Pakistani rose) which is known for its vibrant pink hue and heady scent. Combining floral hues with intricate details, this collection features summer friendly, lightweight fabrics that can easily be donned in the peak summer months. We’re loving the fresh colour palette -  which is a mix of vibrant and pastel colours that are a treat for the eye. From tangerine, pinks, corals to deep blues and greens, buyers have a number of colours to choose from. MNR’s ‘Surkh Gulab’ collection offers a range of options to cater to every fashion enthusiast’s tastes, ensuring every pick to be effortlessly stylish and exude timeless charm.

Here are our top picks from the ‘Surkh Gulab’ collection!

Daneen

The highlight of the collection, ‘Daneen’, is a garnet red ‘peshwas’ signature MNR ensemble. You absolutely cannot go wrong with this red outfit! Made of luxurious Indian silk, it features block printed patterns across the ‘peshwas’ skirt with contrasting accents on the sleeve. The work is intricate - the embroidery, again the MNR signature style, and the embellishments give it an eclectic flair. Paired with a beautiful organza ‘dupatta’ and a pop of colour on the trim, this is the perfect festive look to don this summer wedding season!

Manahil

A stark contrast from ‘Daneen’, ‘Manahil’ is a plush sky-blue and pink pastel hued traditional ‘kameez shalwar’, made of luxurious Swiss Indian silk. The ‘chatta patti’ across the neckline with panels of ‘jamawar’ is sure to make heads turn and catch the eye. Covered in block print motifs and hand embroidered metallics the outfit has a decadent look. The ‘shalwar’ in pastel ‘chatta patti’ has our heart and is perfect for an intimate day-time ‘Nikkah’!

Nashmia
Another ‘peshwas’ that caught our eye from the ‘Surkh Gulab’ collection is ‘Nashmia’, the tea pink ensemble is layered with two kinds of luxurious silk, the top layer is made of ‘karandi’ silk while the one below is a denser Italian silk. The perfect colour to beat the heat this season featuring traditional north Indian patterned ‘adda’ work and multi-headed embroidery vines. The outfit has a matching organza ‘dupatta’ in the same shade with ‘katcha tilla’ borders. We love the eye-soothing colour and definitely have our eye on it for the upcoming wedding season!

Lawn Collection, ‘Baad e Nau Bahaar’

The previous collections, already available in stores and online, have been a fan favourite. Paying homage to the popular recreational spots in Lahore, this lawn collection, ‘Baad e Nau Bahaar’ reminds us of our favourite summer memories spent unwinding at Bagh e Jinnah amongst endless flower beds and water fountains. The colour palette for the lawn collection takes inspiration from the spring flowers in full bloom in Lahore while the intricate embroidery patterns and embellishments resemble the tile work and marble features. Each piece in the collection reflects a keen eye for detail and is dedicated to preserving the rich heritage of Lahore.

Featuring the gorgeous Syra Yousaf, the debut lawn collection ‘Baad e Nau Bahaar’ consisted of pastel candy hues and vibrant reds and blues for a formal or a casual day out.

Eid Collection

MNR’s latest Eid collection, ‘Aish-O-Ishrat’ is a reminder of the good old times where young men and women would throng markets on ‘chand raat’ to participate in the Eid festivities. Celebrating the essence of Eid festivities - this MNR Eid Collection is an ode to the golden era. The gorgeous collection features signature hand and machine embroidery with delicate hand-work embellishments. The collection comprises of options for both men and women with formal Eid-wear in elegant designs which consists of delicate thread work and embroidery and comes in a diverse range of colours such as  vibrant reds and pinks to sober ivory, greys and blacks.
