SABA KHAN - ARTIST

Like a number of Pakistani artists, Saba Khan also received her BFA from the National College of Arts, Lahore where she continues to teach. Saba’s work is focused primarily on class and it is through that lens that she comments on the disparity present within our societies and she highlights the increasing social gulf in a society where status is the only thing that matters. Saba is the founder of the Murree Residency which is an artist-led initiative to support artists and writers that aims to explore and imagine alternative ideas of social integration, holistic strategies of economic upliftment, religious tolerance and economic freedom.
