Samar Minallah Khan Wins An Award In New York For Her Truck Art Project
Documentary filmmaker Samar Minallah Khan has won yet another award for her Truck Art Project — for 'Truck Art Childfinder' on behalf of Berger Paints. The Truck Art project won a Gold Cube at the ADC Annual Awards in New York.

The project won in the ‘Illustration’ category, and shared the Best of Discipline with Impact BBDO Dubai with BBDO Pakistan (Lahore). The One Club for Creativity, producer of ADC Annual Awards, New York is the world's foremost organisation whose mission is to support and celebrate the success of the global creative community. The global ADC Annual Awards honours creative excellence in craft, design and innovation across all disciplines.

‘As we all live through this challenging moment, I think it's important to give our creative communities some good news, shine a bright light on the very best of what we do and encourage us all to look to the future, said Brian Collins, chief creative officer, COLLINS New York and One Club Board member.

‘I have always believed in the power of art and indigenous tools for advocacy,’ said Samar Minallah Khan exclusively to H! Pakistan. Truck Art is our identity and is helping in changing mindsets. A big thank you to Mr Mohammad Ali from Roshni for helping us in uniting the children and to BBDO and Berger for their support, and most importantly, thanks to my wonderful truck art team,’ she said.
