Emraan Rajput’s Assemblage of Women Power Suits Set A New Statement of Style and Power!
It comes as no surprise that Emraan Rajput is the name behind the latest shoot featuring the industry’s most sought after names in both styling, modeling and direction. Emraan Rajput has always been known to create a trend worthy statement with their new envisioned projects. From launching their fast fashion brand, Era by Emraan Rajput, to constructing pieces within their main brand that faithfully caters to their loyal clientele, we can now see that with the emergence of these women power suits that ER has officially entered a new realm of fashion!
“The woman of today needs to be represented in what she’s known for - which is her power and strength. I wanted to branch into this untapped space and I wanted my first muses to be women who have substantial journeys.” Emraan says as he describes his source of inspiration when it came to the shoots inception.
Amal Qadri. Werdah Alee. Trinette Lucas. Erica Robin. Jaweria Ali. Five women who each represent a branch of the fashion industry. Two of which we saw had simultaneously worked on the shoot while posing for it. “Being a muse and a stylist both was quite interesting. I did have moments where I went back and forth to make sure I wasn’t missing out on anything. It came to the point where the makeup artist [Arshad Khan] sat me down and said time to snap into being a muse. So overall it was incredibly fun.” says Amal Qadri when asked how she juggled between styling and posing for the shoot itself.
What truly stood out in more ways than one was how effortlessly each girl embraced their suit. “Each suit was customized to how their overall look and style is. We wanted their individuality to shine.” says Emraan when discussing how uniquely each image portrayed their individual style.
“I feel incredibly grateful to be part of a shoot that celebrates women’s empowerment. The experience was truly special working with a team I’ve known for so long made it feel so wholesome. It was simply my people, creating something close to my heart with one of my favorite designers.” says Erica Robin when asked how she felt about the shoot itself. “Each woman brought something different, yet it all came together beautifully. Collaborating with Emraan Rajput and being involved in the design process made it feel even more intentional.” says Trinette Lucas who pointed out that each girl who was handpicked for the shoot was thoroughly involved in the execution of their own looks.
