Momina Mustehsan Criticised For Islamabad United Anthem
The first season's champions of Pakistan Super League (PSL), Islamabad United, recently released the music video of their official anthem and it has taken Twitter by storm. The anthem titled Cricket Jorray Pakistan has been sung by the talented Momina Mustehsan, who is also the official mascot of the team.

The Afreen Afreen singer is also named Islamabad United's Empowerment Champion.

However, what is interesting to note here is that the same girl who was appreciated across the globe for her Coke Studio collaboration with maestro Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is now criticised by fans that claim 'Momina might be losing her signature touch.'

The music video opens with Momina standing in the corner of a dark room with a mike, singing to herself while clips of the team appear from time to time and we don't get to see the singer even once. According to reviews, Momina has failed to recreate her magic as she did with her performances on the Coke Studio platform. The song seems to have overdosed on auto-tune and does not appear to have a catchy tune like we usually expect an anthem of such sorts to.

Ironically, instead of uniting Pakistan, the song has divided everyone's opinion as while some appreciated it, majority of the people have been trolling Momina over social media.

Here is the video, take a look at it yourself:
