Recipe of The Day: Sweet Chilli Paneer

500gms of paneer

1 large onion

1 large red pepper

1 large yellow/orange pepper

Thumbsized ginger

3-4 cloves of garlic

soy sauce

2 large chillis- green or red

Spices- salt, pepper, chili powder, turmeric, ground coriander

Rice wine vinegar ( white wine vinegar is also fine)

Thai sweet chili sauce


In a pan, drizzle generous amounts of olive oil. Once the pan is sizzling, add in the chopped cubes of paneer, but put the pan on medium low, cook both sides until crisp golden on both sides. Once all the paneer is cooked, leave on a plate to rest whilst you make the sweet chili sauce.

In a pan, fry the peppers, onions, garlic, ginger and chilis. Once sweated, add in the sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, vinegar and spices. Once the sauce has come together, gently add in the paneer, stir them all in and sprinkle with freshly chopped coriander and serve!
