Tell us a little about yourself and your journey as a hair stylist?
It’s a story of life time which would require at least half of this life to tell you.
How did you enter into this field?
By the virtue of destiny.
What’s the earliest memory you have of being a hair stylist?
There was a time I was paid Rs2 a day. I would buy namak parey for Rs1; I was the richest kid in school. I still work the same way today as I did then.
You have worked with many known celebrities. Who has had the best hair to work with?
Not able to take any single name as I love styling hair. All are the best.
Three celebrities you’d love to style?
Johnny Depp, Leonardo DiCaprio and Shahrukh Khan.
What is the most challenging aspect about you field?
That I am unable to spend much time with my family.
Three must follow hair care tips for men.
Regular shampoo, less heating and quality styling products.
What is summer 2020’s hottest hair trends?
Fade clean look, the opposite of that- bed head/messy look and classic sleek look.
Where do you see yourself in the next five years?
Life is uncertain, don't even know about next five seconds.
What are some of your favorite hair trends and is there a particular trend that really needs to go?
There is no specific favorite trend, depends on personality.
What is your advice to aspiring hair stylists?
Be honest with your work.
