Pakistani-Canadian Entrepreneur Muneeb Mushtaq Introduces Innovative Product to Tackle Second Wave of Covid-19
Covid-19 numbers have been on a steady rise over the last couple of months, introducing a second wave that was to be expected, but that has once again shaken up and impacted the world.

During a global pandemic, it can be hard to run a business, but it can be even more of a challenge for those businesses who were preparing to launch right as the pandemic hit. Muneeb Mushtaq is no stranger to the business world, having started and sold his first business at just the age of 18. With continued persistence, Muneeb and his brother Nabeel went on to start their second tech company, AskForTask, an online platform that connects people with service professionals. The platform quickly climbed to become the second-largest home on-demand platform in Canada. More recently, the brothers sought out a new venture which would introduce the most advanced and smartest home fragrance diffuser into the fragrance and tech markets.

The Pakistani-Canadian brothers and co-founders, Nabeel and Muneeb Mushtaq, had already drawn up their business plans for Airzai and their revolutionary product. All that was left to do was to create a beautiful design and conduct the R&D. The brothers soon landed a meeting with world-renowned designer Fred Bould, the genius behind Google Nest, Roku TV, and GoPro. Fred Bould loved the idea, the market potential, and the team’s passion, and decided to join Airzai as the Chief Designer.

Since then, the company has raised over USD $4 million in seed funding, but the product was due to head to manufacturing in early 2020. As the pandemic hit and factories shut, the brothers had to put a pause on their product and quickly went back to the drawing board to see how they could utilize the resources at their disposal to contribute a valuable and relevant product to this global pandemic. That is when they decided to create Airzai Care, an innovative line of self-care products to help in the fight against the virus.

Muneeb Mushtaq saw the ever-growing need for self-care products in the world and instead of having their factories sit empty, they decided to utilize the resources and talent they had. They opened fulfillment and distribution facilities in Houston and South Carolina, created jobs, and introduced a premium product that was not only alcohol-free, but also SGS certified and proven to kill 99.9% of germs including Covid-19. The all-natural air and surface disinfectant is not only gentle on the body, but also on the environment. The idea behind it is what wherever you are and whatever your surroundings, you can keep yourself and others protected.

“Covid-19 has shown us all the importance of sanitization and how quickly and easily germs can spread. It is an invisible threat against us all that can be anywhere for hours. It is vital that we are aware of everything we come into contact with and disinfect our surroundings,” said Muneeb Mushtaq, Founder and CEO, Aizai.

Airzai Care’s air and surface disinfectant is manufactured using patent-pending techniques that activate the ingredients which includes a trade secret compound that protects and preserves the ingredients for better and long-lasting results.

After the launch of Airzai Care, Muneeb made it their mission to help those on the frontlines fighting for us everyday. They created self-care packages and had them sent to hospitals across the US and Canada, as well as in Pakistan.
