Pakistani Celebrities Join Hands For #JusticeforAsma
According to The Express Tribune Mujahid Afridi and his accomplice, identified as Sadiqullah, shot Asma Rani dead on Saturday after she reportedly turned down a marriage proposal by the former. Rani, a student in Ayub Medical College, had named Afridi as her killer in a statement before her death.
The celebrities are now uniting to stand up for justice. Sanam Baloch, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Mahira Khan Armeena Khan amongst others took to Twitter to express their concern over this tragic matter.
“Mujahid Afridi is a cold blooded murderer who must be brought to justice asap. Arresting his brother for aiding his escape is fine but KP authorities must get him deported from Saudi Arabia and get him punished. May Allah’s curse be upon you Mujahid Afridi,” Hamza Ali Abbasi's tweet read.

It was reported that Mujahid fled to Saudi Arabia the same day he shot Asma, while Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa police approached Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to bring him back through the Interpol.
Rani was on vacation in Kohat which also happens to be her hometown when it happened, Kohat Development Authority police station according to SHO Gul Janan. Rani accompanied by her sister-in-law reached home on Saturday, where Mujahid who was with his brother opened fire at her as she got out of a rickshaw and left the crime scene.
She was shot thrice and passed away shortly after.
