QMobile Hum Style Awards 2016: What To Expect
The HUM Network Limited, Pakistan’s premier entertainment network, in collaboration with Pakistan’s largest smart phone company QMobile is set to launch the QMobile Hum Style Awards 2016 on 28 October in Karachi. In addition to the nominations and categories that have been announced, Sultana Siddiqui, President Hum Network has revealed what to expect from the star-studded night.
“Hum Network has initiated its first ever QMobile Hum Style Awards to celebrate our fashion and entertainment industry’s leading style influencers and trendsetters. I hope with the revealing of the nominations, we will put this as stepping stone towards building and developing this industry further as our talent needs to be awarded and celebrated to grow further.”
In fact, the HUM network is already poised to be one of the most innovative and exciting platforms, with progressive and entertaining TV serials. The QMobile Hum Style Awards are designed to recognise and encourage the growing talent in the industry; you can expect to see a spotlight on celebrities who are uniquely diverse. The awards are about creating a platform to build the entire industry rather than just the already flourishing HUM family, or be just another entertaining TV show.
“We want to set new precedents,” says Sultana Siddiqui. “When the results are announced, people will realise just how fair we have been. The industry is growing and we want to encourage deserving people without any bias.”
Though the evening promises fewer performances, the ones that are mentioned will surely set the stage ablaze!
The opening performance by Umair Jaswal and Meesha Shafi singing a special songthat will be the QMobile Hum Style Awards soundtrack will surely set the evening off to a great start. This will be followed by a groovy/theatrical performance by Nida Butt, a medley by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is also part of the programme, a unique performance by Ali Zafar and a comical performance by the internet sensation, Zaid Ali T and, of course, a show-stealer by none other than HSY.
Moreover, the ceremony will have notable artists, and glamorous celebrities from Pakistan’s fashion, music, sports, drama and film industries receiving awards for showcasing style at its best.
