One of the most prominent Pakistani singers of Sufi devotional songs, a true legend who carried forward legacy of the inimitable Sabri brothers, Amjad Sabri, was shot dead by gunmen who fired into his car in Karachi on Wednesday. Yet, another reminder of the sectarian and extreme violence prevalent in Pakistan. Though gone but never forgotten, as fans across the globe mourn the loss of the nation's treasure. He was more than just music to the ears, he was an inspiration, the pride of the Pakistan and the last one of his kind. 

This tragic accident has left many angered, deeply disappointed and absolutely heartbroken. Fans demand justice and answers as they promise to keep his work alive for the voice of his was one that surely cannot be silenced.
