Hillary Clinton Wears Symbolic White to Donald Trump's Inauguration
On a day that many in America and most certainly the 200,000 people expected at Women's March in Washington expected (and hoped) Hillary Clinton would be sworn in as the first female president, the former secretary of state dons in a Ralph Lauren jewel-neck pantsuit and double-faced cashmere coat in cream; of course, looking elegant as ever.

During her run for campaign, Clinton chose Ralph Lauren for exclusively high-profile events such as her democratic convention acceptance speech and the three debates with her Republican opponent Donald Trump included. Through her course, she often chose white in what many thought to be a symbol of solidarity.

Though, Clinton won the popular vote by a wide margin, that dream did not become a reality. However, Clinton has managed to put a brave face on through the ceremony.

As reported by The Telegraph, a reporter tweeted asking, “How does it feel to be here today, Madam Secretary?”

Though she did not respond, her attire i.e. cream-colour Ralph Lauren, similar to suffragette white is message enough to her supporters. She stands for democracy.

On another note, the incoming First Lady, Melania Trump, is also wearing clothes by Ralph Lauren.
