70th Independence Day Made Even More Sooper By Attempting The World Record
From decorating the city's tallest buildings to hosting concerts, to people sporting the colours of the flag to decorating their houses and vehicles, Pakistan's 70th Independence Day was celebrated with great zeal and fervour. Amidst the fireworks and patriotic songs that hit home, another campaign that caught our attention was Peek Freans Sooper’s attempt to break the world record and this was no ordinary. The renowned confectionary brand took a unique spin and introduced a challenge like no other that got people across the country anxious and excited at the same time - any guesses?

Peek Freans Sooper carried out an on-ground activity in which they attempted to make the world's largest flag out of Sooper cookies - isn't that quite super and delicious, might we add!

Sooper has always been considered to be the nation's partner, and rightfully so as the brand has a reputation of going above and beyond to fulfill their responsibility of playing a key role in making the nation proud. This unique attempt, if successful would not only be a proud moment for the citizens of Pakistan, but would also bring international recognition for the country.

Bringing over 200 employees of the EBM family together to work towards breaking a record is not only commitment but a great initiative taken by the brand. Attendees included the country's A-list from the entertainment sphere, such as, Osman Khalid Butt, Anoushey Ashraf, Hareem Farooq, Ali Rehman, Mira Sethi, Adnan Siddiqui and Pakistan's sportsmen included Shoaib Akhtar and Younus Khan.

Keeping the brand’s vision of being socially responsible, all cookies used for making the flag will be donated to notable charities across Pakistan - doesn't get better than this!

Here's wishing them luck! Surely, no cookies brand has ever been this Sooper before!
