Heavy Snowfall In Balochistan Breaks 20-Year Record
After an unusually extreme weather system has entered Pakistan, reports of snow intensifying in the North and in Balochistan are coming in.

Heavy snowfall has already broken a 20-year record in Quetta. At least 14 people in different parts of Balochistan have lost their lives. At least 30 have been killed and several others left injured due to rain and heavy snowfall in different parts of the country. Authorities have struggled to clear and reopen highways and evacuate people to safer places. Much of the damage struck southwestern Balochistan province as 14 died there in the past 24 hours, mainly when roofs collapsed amid heavy snowfall. Eleven people were killed in Punjab province, battered by heavy rains, and five others died in the AJK areas.
