Laiba Ijaz Ahmed to represent Pakistan at the US Junior Open Squash Championship
Young talents making Pakistan proud yet again. Laiba Ijaz Ahmad from Peshawar is a 17-year-old junior squash player who will be representing Pakistan in the US Junior Open Squash Championship in Boston, Massachusetts on December 15 to 18.

From all over the world around 9,000 players compete to qualify for this competition. Laiba,has previously already made her mark in the squash court both within the country and abroad. She bagged two gold medals in the women squash event after winning both an individual and team gold medal at the Quaid-e-Azam Inter Provincial Youth Games in 2016. She is the number 1 top ranking player in U-13 championship and has also clinched a title in U-15 championships. She has won around 52 events in her career at a young age and hopes to bag international Junior U-15 championship this month.
