Q. How would you describe your personal style?

A. My personal style varies depending on my mood. It ranges from classy and minimalist to colourful and fun.

Q. Who is your go-to person for style tips?

A. I usually pick up clothes and accessories that stand out to me and style them myself. I don’t particularly have a go-to person for style tips.

Q. Make-up style by day and night? and which products would we find in your bag at all times? Typically, my day make-up is very minimalistic.

A. I love using nude lipsticks during the day. At night, I like doing eye make-up and adding some bright lip colour. I always have hand sanitiser, Carmex lip balm, a lipstick and perfume in my bag.

Q. If you were stranded on an island, which two people would you like to be with?

A. Zooey Deschanel - I have seen her interview live and think she is intelligent and creative with a really fun personality; J.K Rowling – I would love to pick her brain!

Q. What do you consider as the biggest fashion faux pas?

A. Wearing too many prints at one time and crocs!

Q. What was the first designer item in your closet?

A. Patek Philippe watch passed down by my mum.

Q. What is your favourite shopping destination?

A. London - I love the city and all that it has to offer!

Q. If you could choose to be a particular celebrity for a day who would you be and why?

A. Angelina Jolie – she has incredible experience as an actress, film maker and a humanitarian.

Q. What do you consider as the five most important must-haves this year?

Statement jewellery, culottes, a cape or wrap, striking shoes, any accessory with fringe.

Q. What was the inspiration behind bringing Prerto in Pakistan?

A. I personally love Prerto, as each piece is so unique. It’s a great blend of eastern and western designs and can be worn with all sorts of outfits. Every time I wear it out, people compliment and ask about it. I felt there was a need for good quality statement jewellery at affordable prices in Pakistan.

Q. What are your future plans?

A. I am looking forward to new and exciting collections for Prerto and further expanding it to new horizons. I am also working on having more Snapchat stories from Pakistan in the near future.1

Next up is the talented Alishay Adnan

Now she is working for Daraz.pk, where she organises photo shoots and manages the blog and social media. Alishay is also a freelance stylist for photo shoots, television commercials and celebrity styling.

Q. Who is your go-to person for style tips?

A. My younger sister! I take her fashion advice quite seriously.

Q. Make-up style by day and night? and which products would we find in your bag at all times?

A. For the day look, I use basic products like a BB cream, mascara and lip balm. The night look is obviously bolder with flashier eye shadows, lots of highlighter and bolder lips. There is always a mascara (Benefit-Roller Lash), highlighter (Naked flushed) and lip balm (Clarins) in my bag.

Q. Name two favourite celebrities you’ve enjoyed styling the most?

A. People regard creative work as easy, as they think it’s just putting things together. It’s not until you are out for a 48-hour shoot that you realise it can get super hectic.

A. I started designing clothes on a much commercial platform this May 2015 and it was one of those things I had been longing to get into since I was in high school. I have always loved dressing up since a very young age and would always be putting fabrics together later to realise that this was something I was meant to do.

Q. Any new projects lined up for 2016?

A. More and more fashion shoots with some super creative concepts and a new bridal campaign launching in March 2016.
