Throwback To Our Favourite Met Gala Moments Of All Time

This year, the 2020 Met Gala was postponed indefinitely due to the coronavirus pandemic. Known around the world as 'fashion’s biggest night out,’ the Met Gala is a fundraising benefit for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, which is held annually on the first Monday of every month. This year was meant to be the MET Gala's 150th anniversary.

However, the gala still went forward in a new way with 'A Moment With the Met,' a YouTube livestream hosted by Vogue Magazine. Hosted by editor Anna Wintour, designer Virgil Abloh and Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine.

The livestream showed a preview of the upcoming 2020 annual costume exhibit by the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art (MET) themed 'About Time: Fashion and Duration'.

The livestream also looked back to some of the most memorable  Met Gala red carpet moments of all time!

International celebrities who have attended the gala over the years spent time on Social Media posting their best moments from the MET GALA over the years! Instagram was flooded with fashion magazines sharing their most loved moments from the iconic event.
