Renowned Fashion Photographer Peter Lindbergh Passes Away At Age 74
German fashion photographer Peter Lindbergh, who worked in the 1980s and 1990s with supermodels like Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss has died at age 74.

His trademark was the simple and dramatic black and white portrait, as well as his refusal to retouch images. His portraits appeared in magazines such as Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and the New Yorker. The Duchess of Sussex also took to her Instagram to pay tribute to the late Peter Lindbergh whom she worked with most recently on the September issue of Vogue (UK). She shared an image of them both captioned: ‘His work is revered globally for capturing the essence of a subject and promoting healthy ideals of beauty, eschewing photoshopping, and preferring natural beauty with minimal makeup.’
