Ahmad Taha Ghani From H! Pakistan

Ahmad Taha Ghani is an actor and a musician known for his role as Captain Asif in the recently launched film Yalghaar. The rising actor talks to Hello! about his life, career and most importantly what the future has in store for him in an exclusive interview.

Artists need inspiration. Who or what is yours?
I have always been greatly inspired by my father and his unparalleled journey to success. It is all the inspiration I will ever need!

The moment you realised music and acting were your dream?
As far back as I can remember, I was always immensely passionate about being an actor and a musician.

What was your first project?
My acting debut was in the recently released film Yalghaar playing the role of Captain Asif.

One piece of advice you would give to aspiring artists?
Success is measured not by the number of people who know you or recognise you. It is measured by your perseverance and your commitment to your career. No matter what happens, if you truly want to succeed, don’t ever give up.

Has anyone ever told you to have a backup plan in case this line of career doesn’t work? What was your response?
I have been exceptionally blessed by family & friends who have always supported my choice of career. So far, no one has given me this advice!

One actor and one musician you aspire to be like? Why?
I am inspired not simply by actors or musicians rather the work they have done. I absolutely loved Al Pacino for his role in Scarface as Tony Montana.

Your feelings when you first stepped on to the sets of Yalghaar?
It was an incredible feeling to be such a prominent part of a film featuring Pakistan’s largest ensemble cast and to have been able to work alongside good friends and industry professionals like Hassan Waqas Rana, Shaan Shahid, Humayun Saeed Bilal Ashraf, Wali Yousaf, Irfan Gillani, Gohar Rasheed, Armeena Rana Khan, Uzma Khan and so many more. It was truly an unforgettable experience.

What makes you stand apart from the crowd?
I believe everyone has their own unique personality and no one can truly be like another.

What projects are you currently working on?
I am currently working on my debut single to be released within this year! Plus, I have signed on to some other exciting projects which you will be hearing about soon! So stay tuned.

In another lifetime, who would you want to be if not an actor/musician?
In another lifetime, I would choose to be an actor and a musician all over again!

Being in a strong position to help others!
