KPK Government Working Towards Organising A Helicopter Service To Promote Tourism
The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is in the works to start a helicopter service for tourists to make beautiful mountains, picturesque valleys, and rivers accessible in a short time. KP Minister for Sports and Tourism Muhammad Atif Khan said that they were in talks with private companies to initiate the service in tourist destinations located in KP.

He also said the initiative will not only allow people to enjoy the aerial scenes of the tourist points but will also make it easier for tourists (especially) from Lahore and Islamabad to access touristic places of the province. He added that the service will also facilitate foreign tourists. The senior KP minister said that it will decrease the 14-hour distance from Punjab to Chitral to just two hours.
