Aleem Zafar's Melodious Tribute To Mehdi Hassan On Pakistan Resolution Day
His latest cover is produced by Mubashir Admani who has previously worked for Coke Studio Season 7. He set foot in the music industry making his debut with a cover of the late Junaid Jamshed’s Hamd— Ilahi Teri Chaukhat Pay a few months back.
Aleem Zafar says, 'I never thought people will love this track so much. We decided to record this track probably when I was just about to leave the studio. It was a very difficult task to sing your favourite song sung by a legend. All I could do is try. I can’t replicate him at all but, I'm glad people are liking it.'
The video opens up with Aleem walking towards the Mazar-e-Quid in Karachi and then takes us to Faisal Masjid in Islamabad to the stunning northern areas and to Minar-e-Pakistan in Lahore. The beauty that Pakistan is, is seen throughout his visually appealing and cinematic-effect video. What a perfect day to release to cover.
