Pakistan’s biggest superstar Mahira Khan has continued to enthrall us with her work on the silver screen. Apart from dazzling us in the various roles she plays in screen, Khan is also a passionate advocate for the most marginalized in our society. Khan is a UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador and works to help the 1.4 million Afghan refugees in Pakistan. This year, along with many other celebrities, Khan came out to raise her voice against the tragic motorway rape case and attempted to raise awareness about sexual harassment and violence against women.
