MAHA AHMED - ARTIST

Maha Ahmed is an emerging Pakistani artist whose work is making waves. Maha completed an MA in Fine Art at Central Saint Martins School of Art, London in 2015 for which she was awarded the Caspian Arts Foundation Scholarship. She also held her last show titled 'A place that cannot be' at the Kristin Hjellegjerde and her work which draws inspiration from traditional Persian and Mughal manuscripts and classical Japanese painting techniques grapples with issues of identity and what it means to belong.
