Pakistan Women's Cricket Team Congratulates Boys In Green On The Big Win

Cricket fans across the globe including celebrities on both side of the borders and dignitaries send out congratulatory posts to the triumphant Pakistan cricketers on their return from England after beating arch-rivals India in the final of the ICC Champions Trophy. Amidst the endearing messages, one that caught our attention was the Pakistan Women's Cricket team who celebrate the grand win by posting a video and pictures.



Captain of Pakistan women team Sana Mir said, “It’s a huge huge win, huge achievement, you have shown character and brought smiles to the people of Pakistan.”

All-rounder Bisma Maroof said, “Congratulations boys, you have inspired us with the energy you boys came up with. We will be looking forward to having this energy in our team too in this world cup.”

Right handed bat Nain Abidi added, “Congratulations to Pakistan and to Pakistan men’s team, you all make us proud.”

Marina Iqbal said, “You have shown the world and Pakistan some character, congratulations.”

Pakistan beat West Indies by 5 wickets in a warmup clash of the 2017 ICC Women's World Cup (24th June to 23rd July) in Leicester, UK.
