ALI SETHI - MUSICIAN

Ali Sethi is the most versatile singer to have emerged from the music scene in recent years. Some know him as a novelist while others recognize him for being the master of mellifluous melodies that have lasting value. Apart from lending his voice to the soundtrack of films like Manto, The Reluctant Fundamentalist and Superstar; Sethi outclassed himself in Coke Studio’s 12th season. His rendition of Gulon Main Rang, originally sung by Mehdi Hasan, has been widely shared and acclaimed by his fans. Sethi has covered several difficult songs over the years that were once made famous by others and have been resurrected in memory by him in a remarkable fashion.
