Rave Reviews: 'Verna's' Trailer Is Out And We Can't Wait!

The trailer for the upcoming Shoaib Mansoor film  Verna has just been released.

The much-awaited film that features Mahira Khan will deal with social issues yet again, following Shoaib's previous movies -  Bol.

While there hasn't been much that has been revealed, word has it that  Verna is a revenge story that revolves around Sarah's (Mahira Khan) struggle for justice after being raped.

The trailer reveals that Sarah has been let down by two men in her life, namely her husband (Haroon Shahid) and a political acquaintance of hers (Zarrar Khan) — and that she does have revenge on her mind. Rasheed Naz's closing dialogue 'DNA match kara tou kya kareyge?' (What will you do if the DNA matches?) - and this confirms that there is a rape scene in the film.

The initial teaser shared by Mahira was absolutely fierce. The short video showed the starlet beating someone up in a bathtub, setting a dark, gritty mood. However, later we found some relief in the music video for the song Sambhal Sambhal Kay - that was a breath of fresh air. Therefore, it is safe to conclude that we will be seeing the Humsafar actress essaying different avatars.

Here is the trailer, watch it for yourself,

Verna comes out on November 17.
