Marc Jacobs Sparks Outrage For Using Etsy Dreadlocks on Top Models
People across the globe are questioning Marc Jacobs' hairdos on top models including Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, Jourdan Dunn and Adriana Lima at this Spring 2017 New York Fashion Week show on Thursday. These models walked down the runway sporting pastel dreadlocks. The hairstyle isn't the concern rather why the celeb-loved designer didn't hire models who actually have dreads.

Marc Jacobs and hair stylists confirm that they take inspiration from different cultures and that this meant no offense in anyway possible. According to them, it was an attempt to mix cultures together and that is seen in every way, from food to dressing and that this was no different. People have taken it to Instagram and concerns such as,"there are much better points of inspiration for dreads and locs. Like ones that naturally and beautifully grow out of a black woman's head,” @shondrikajc have been raised.

It is understandable as to why people are not too happy with his decision of going through the hassle of getting dreads made when there is a large population of those who have such hair naturally. However, is it fair to not be inspired or add a bit of funk?
