Adnan Siddiqui Talks About Upcoming Bollywood Movie, 'Mom'
TV actor Adnan Siddiqui who has almost two decades of acting experience under his belt is ready to make his Bollywood debut with Mom. The actor will appear alongside Sri Devi in the film produced by her husband, Boney Kapoor.
After his stint in the Hollywood production A Mighty Heart and playing a soldier in upcoming film Yalghaar, Adnan is also working on Project Ghazi by Nadir Shah — a sci-fi film starring Shehryar Munawar, Adnan Jaffar and Syra Yousaf.
In a chat with Hello! Adnan said, he feels "extremely lucky" to be sharing screen space opposite the legendary Sri Devi. He added, "both Boney and Sri Devi were very warm, welcoming and hospitable people who took care of me and made me feel at home".
Adnan shared an interesting encounter,
"One fine day when I was in my hotel room after we had wrapped up in Mumbai, I got a call from Boney Kapoor to come over to his house for dinner. Upon arrival, I was overwhelmed to see that along with the couple, Sri Devi's friends - the socialites of Bombay were also present. Interestingly, they were there to catch a glimpse of me. In fact, they had requested Boney to host a dinner where they could meet me".
Furthermore, Adnan told Hello! that not many people know that it was Sri Devi's daughter, Jhanvi who was following Adnan's drama Mere Humdum Mere Dost, that resulted in her requesting her father, Boney to get him on board as a fresh face for their film.
About Sajal Aly - Adnan said, she is reserved, focused and keeps to herself. Though, he wanted to convince her to explore the new city but she was either engrossed in her work or taking a breather in her room.
