Through the 2000s, the rap songs were mostly in English and Punjabi. We saw bands like EP include rap in their music; however it was only used as a cosmetic to give the song a ‘Gora feel.’ But we saw this change when Bohemia stepped in. Primarily rapping in English and Punjabi, he became one of the first singers that started rapping in Punjabi.
