Pakistani and Indian Singers Come Together For Indian Movie, 'Begum Jaan'
Upcoming film Begum Jaan starring Vidya Balan as a brothel owner in a story that takes you back to the time of partition has not just recently revealed a powerful trailer but the music of the films has also managed to touch the hearts of the audience.  

The composer, Anu Malik who also managed to earlier rope Asha Bhosle for the song Prem Mein Thore in the movie, recently worked with the legendary Sonu Nigam and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan for Azaadiyan- the partition song.

According to Times of India, the director Srijit Mukherji explains,

“While the song makes you nostalgic about the Anu-Sonu combination, it’s also very close to my heart as a partition song sung by two of the most remarkable voices from India and Pakistan.”

Following the previous bans on Bollywood movies, director Mahesh Bhatt is all for bringing Pakistani talent back to India. And if it were reports were to be believed, Mahesh approached Ali Zafar a song on the theme of cross-border peace and similarly also was in conversation with Fuzon's former lead man, Shafqat Amanat Ali.

Begum Jaan is slated to go on floors on April 14
