What is no-shave November? 

No Shave November or Movember is a campaign created to grow awareness by letting your hair grow for 30 days. Men are challenged to grow out their facial hair, beard, moustache, whatever they can stand. This movement was created to raise awareness of Men’s Health issues, including several diseases and illnesses:

• Prostate Cancer
• Testicular Cancer
• Poor Mental Health – Depression
• Physical inactivity

The goal of Movember is to spread awareness by men growing out their hair and letting it grow wild and free (with minimal trimming except for professional dress code reasons). This is something cancer patients do not have the opportunity to do.
Men who participate in Movember are encouraged to donate the money they would have spent on razors, shaving utensils and barber shops to help Prostate and Testicular Cancer patients.
