Golden Globes 2021 - The Best Dressed

The Golden Globes is always a period of anticipation for lovers of film and television, as viewers remain on the edge of their seats hoping for their favourite creative to be nominated. However, the outfits on display are no less of the talk during the award giving season, and we’ve provided a lowdown on some of the best dressed celebrities who made appearances at this year’s Golden Globes Award. Let us know who you think was best dressed!

1.    Nicole Kidman in Louis Vuitton

This reminds us of the 1994 safety-pin Versace dress seen on Elizabeth Hurley – except now it takes a formal but similarly boss lady look, embellished in gold chains.

2.     Lily Collins in Saint Laurent

1 word: gorgeous. Lily Collins looked stunning in this YSL look that gave us 70 vibes and was finished beautifully with some unique encrusted diamonds.

3.     Anya Taylor Joy in Dior Haute Couture

Anya Taylor Joy looked totally ethereal in this Dior gown that turned her into a walking green goddess.

4.     Viola Davis in Calvin Klein

Viola Davis chose vibrancy and flare in her golden globes look that resonates with some of our favourite fabrics and linens – enriched with versatility and playfulness unlike anyone else.

5.     Elle Fanning in Gucci

Elle Fanning looked delicate and angel-like in her Gucci ensemble that accentuated her features and gave a nod to 1940s silk.

6.     Margot Robbie in Chanel

Margot Robbie – a natural beauty – opted for a frilled split hem dress that gave beach and dinner date vibes that we are in awe of!

 7.     Rosamund Pike in Molly Goddard

Rosamund Pike’s Golden Globes look made us want to buy a dramatic dress and statement boots so we can look as boss as this.

8.     Salma Hayek in Alexander McQueen

Salma Hayek looked extremely elegant in a pleated red dress with loud heels and minimal jewellery.

9.     Angela Bassett in Dolce and Gabbana

Angela Bassett created a timeless look with these frills, split hems and beautiful hair look that is not easy to imitate. The purple adds depth that is unique to all other red carpet looks this year.

10.  Sarah Hyland in Monique Lhuillier

Last but not at all least, Sarah Hyland looked breath-taking in a bright red Monique Lhuillier gown that cannot go wrong. Paired with flood crystal earrings, the actress looked beautiful as ever!
