What led you to the acting industry?
My love for wanting to experience different roles was my main inspiration to act.
What was the first Pakistani drama serial that you acted in and who was your first major co-star?
In my first TV serial, I shared screen space with amazing actors like Faisal Rehman, Samina Peerzada and Asad Malik from whom I learnt so much.
What are the projects you’re currently working on?
Two TV serials: Deewar e Shab and Gul o Gulzar.
Future plans? Will you be taking up any roles in Pakistani movies?
I definitely want to work in movies soon and have been getting a lot offers but I am just waiting for the right script to come my way. You will definitely see me on the big screen soon.
With so much of competition in the industry, what makes you stand out from the rest?
Honestly, I have never considered anyone my competition and think of myself as my own competitor with the desire to only better myself. I believe hard work, determination and focus can take you places.
Is there an actor you would love to work with?
Nauman Ejaz for sure – am a huge fan of his acting abilities.
What is your daily mantra for happiness?
Do what you love, don’t lose faith, pay the price for happiness and don’t compare yourself to anyone.

Passionate, fearless, creative, focused and flexible

I don’t think if any particular song can define me entirely but a song that I can relate to is ‘Girl on Fire’ by Alicia
