Kumail Nanjiani, the popular comedian known for his character in the award-winning show Silicon Valley has just received the Comedy Star of the Year Award at Cinema-Con.

The CinemaCon, official convention of The National Association of Theatre Owners was held from March 27-30th at the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

Kumail Nanjiani will be starring in the upcoming rom-com The Big Sick.
