Indian Movie 'Noor' Inspired By A Pakistani Novel

Upcoming Bollywood movie  Noor that is slated to release this Friday is an adaptation a successful novel Karachi, You're Killing Me! penned by Pakistani author Saba Imtiaz. From the time the trailer of the movie surfaced to the theatres, fans across the border have been excited to know the story of this zany journalist played by Sonakshi. However, even before it releases, it seems that Bollywood has already given it a thumbs up!

Earlier The Hollywood Reporter reported,

"Bestselling Pakistani novel Karachi, You're Killing Me! by local journalist Saba Imtiaz has been acquired for a Bollywood adaptation by Mumbai-based banner Abundantia Entertainment."

Between a troubled love life, a flailing career and daily struggles with her weight, she finds her unique story. The film to be released on April 21, welcomed a bevy of notables from the industry at the Yashraj Studios where a special screening of the film was held on Wednesday evening. In attendance were Anuska Sharma, Mira Rajput, Vishal Dadlani, Shekar Ravjiani among others.
